This course is the ideal introduction to the essential knowledge required to plan and undertake short cruising passages in local coastal waters, under sail or power.

Run over two consecutive days it is a concise yet highly informative shorebased course, designed specifically for skippers and crew new to cruising.

The Essential Navigation and Seamanship course is equally suitable for sailing yachts, motor boats, RIBS, divers and sea anglers.

Presented by David Jerrard of Sea~Craft, an RYA  instructor since 1991, the course is open to both members and non-members, so bring along a friend, partner or colleague.
